TAMPA – A bicyclist was injured in the stomach in a drive-by shooting early Monday morning, according to Tampa Police.Officers on scene said the man was biking and heard a ‘pop’ sound around 26th Street and Columbus Avenue. The biker continued riding to 31st Street and 22nd Avenue, and stopped there to see if he was hurt. That’s when he realized he had been injured.It’s just a small, minor wound, said officers, it’s not clear if he was hit by a very small caliber bullet or a pellet gun.The man was taken to the hospital to get checked outPolice are looking for a dark four-door vehicle with an unknown number of occupants.
