TAMPA – Tampa Police are searching for the driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident late Sunday night.Witnesses say just after 11:30 p.m. they saw a full-sized dark SUV hit the victim at the intersection of North 40th Street and East Crawford Street before driving off.For some reason, a 60-year-old man was lying in the road. They don’t know if he was awake, unconscious, asleep, or alive. If alive, the impact from the SUV delivered the fatal blow.Police say the SUV will not have any front-end damage as only the tires ran over the man.
