A Polk County sheriff’s lieutenant is accused of exposing himself at work and trying to convince a female employee not to incriminate him. Dexter Jerome Hill, 44, of Lakeland is charged with indecent exposure and tampering in a misdemeanor proceeding. Jerome, who has resigned, worked as a supervisor in the South County Jail. Hill is accused of exposing himself at work in front of a female employee at the jail, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. During an investigation, he contacted the woman and tried to influence her not to incriminate him. Hill was booked into Polk County Jail, but was released after posting a $1,500.
